Coaching is an opportunity for leaders to vent, learn, grow and process their challenges without having to manage the relationship. This is critical to sustaining the type of energy and focus needed to run a school in these volatile times.

In our approach, Leadership+Design pairs school leaders with a coach who is trained in helping conversations. This type of coaching is not about telling leaders what to do or giving advice. This coaching is more about helping leaders become more clear in their thinking and working through and letting go of the feelings that emerge through challenging work. This coaching relationship often leads to greater self awareness, higher emotional intelligence, and a lower level of stress and anxiety.

Coaching calls typically take place on a monthly or biweekly basis, with a minimum of four prepaid sessions to begin. Once we’ve started working together, you can add additional sessions on a per-session basis, based on your needs.
